It may be cynical to suggest that the rerelease of James Cameron’s sci-fi epic Avatar in cinemas this week, with eight minutes additional footage(!), may be nothing but a money-making scheme from 20th Century Fox, but director Cameron feels the film needs to be seen by those that missed it the first time round.
