Gadget Love

We all love gadgets, right? Well, OK, some of us more than others. Some of us won’t go ten feet without an iphone. But the point is this: it’s practically impossible to go through one day on this earth without interacting with some kind of new-fangled technology.

Some people – a company, actually – who are mad keen on both saving energy and cool gadget stuff are Enigin. Over at their blog you can see what they have to say about going to see the latest gadgets on the market.

What’s more they promise a full report of this trade-show they are so excited about, so make sure you check their site regularly to see what they have to say.

Now, I am one for technology, I am, but I am not technology obsessed like some people I know. But, like I was saying, you just can’t get away from it–which is why I was flabbergasted when I went to my local doctor’s surgery the other day. Upon arriving through the swooshing automatic doors I walked up to the secretary and started saying my name. She looked at me a bit funny, as she always did nothing new there, then pointed to a computer nearby. “That’s where you check in now,” she said smugly, and so I did.

And it was an enjoyable experience actually. Certainly better than being looked at a bit funny.

And you know what? Eniginprobably have an energy saving device to make the doctor’s surgery computer thing run more efficiently too. They have gadgets that do just about everything else, so it wouldn’t surprise me one bit.
