Years ago, the BBC had a fine selection of Science Fiction programmes. There always seemed to be such an excellent choice. Shows such as; ‘Dr. Who’, ‘Survivors’, ‘Blake’s 7’, ‘The Day of the Triffids ‘and ‘Sapphire and Steel’ were all a part of their regular schedule and thousands of viewers tuned-in each week. But then there was a bit of a dry spell. It seemed that these wonderfully imaginative shows were slowly dying out.
