All of my favourite books, movies and TV programmes are science fiction. I have always been fascinated by this genre, right from being a child.
In my opinion, there have been a couple of ‘golden ages’ for sci-fi. The first of these was the 1950s. This was when the genre was first properly recognised and there were some great novels, comics and films released. I have loved science fiction films for as long as I can remember. As a child, I can recall watching the old black and white films from the fifties such as ‘Invasion of The Body Snatchers’, ‘It Came from Outer Space’ and ‘The Thing from another World’.
