A TV series with a twist, Being Human will definitely make you want to see more each time you finished watching an episode. The main underlying concept is this: how can a ghost, a werewolf and a vampire live together and share their life views, and adventures? Apart from the spy-geek touch, the Laundry series is slowly getting the touch of the hero type stories. The main hero of the Laundry is a geek who has turned into a demonologist and a secret agent, who is out to rescue the damsel in distress, Dominique, whom he later falls in love with. A passionate fiction movie fan like me has been often disappointed and misled by the great deal of fanfare and trailers which come with promise of much thrill and excitement with every new movie. In reality these movies are insipid and offer very little by way of entertainment. When I visit some blog sites I find there are many more people who feel the same. Those were the days, before relationship issues and debt problems. Star Trek V1, first edition, Rodenberry pure. That guy knew what it meant to write sci-fi and he knew what people wanted. The movie world is the only place where the directors can go against the laws of science and physics and yet not be punished or prosecuted. Italian Director, Vincenzo Natali, known for world class graphics and animated movies, is out with yet another flick, Splice. This is a list of the greatest heroines of the science fiction and fantasy genre. There are many more than five greats, but making that list could take a fair amount of time.
